LITERARY CLUB:

AIM:

Literary club provides a creative space for young students to explore their imagination and express themselves through story telling, poetry and writing. It aims to inspire a love for reading and provide opportunities to approach different types of literature , while encouraging creativity and self – expression.

OBJECTIVES:

To help members groom their personality and build confidence in public speaking .

Activities: Assembly speech, extempore,  debate , quiz.

To help members explore Literature from around the world to appreciate the different culture and tradition.

Activities: story telling , book reviews , poem recitation and writing , poster making and slogan writing.

To help members develop leadership and collaborative skills .

Activities: Involving them in planning and running literary events, group discussion

To let the students take interest and involved themselves in the publishing of the school magazine ,’ ROSTO DE MARIA’.

Activities: students interested in photography and arts to design cover , layout and content of the magazine.

Sub- Clubs under the Literary Club:

READING CLUB:

To encourage reading habits, build a sense of community and foster creativity where seniors will help and guide the juniors in all activities taken by the reading club.

STORYTELLING CLUB:

To promote the art of storytelling and oral narratives , providing a space for students to craft and share compelling stories.

The literary club, with its sub-clubs, aims to be a hub of creativity by fostering an appreciation for both written and visual narrative , the club seeks to cultivate and contribute to the world of arts and Literature.
